NEW AUDIO SAMPLE: What should be on your window cleaning answering machine message?
November 24, 2009 – 9:37 pmTwo days from now someone will be desperately looking for a professional window cleaner in your city.
They’ll scour Google, check online homeowner review sites, and take a peek at Craigslist.
They’ll ask neighbors and relatives, and even people they work with, and somehow (thankfully) along the way, they will come across YOUR phone number.
They’ll find a pen, write your number down, and then sneak a few moments out of their busy day to call it, only to find that…
You don’t answer.
You mean to, and maybe you even try to, but you don’t somehow.
Will they hang up and simply call the next company on their list? Or will they maybe give you a shot at impressing them even though you missed their call?
Well, the answer to that has a LOT to do with what you put on your answering machine message.
If you’re looking for a little inspiration, the following sample audio recording could help. Just click on the “play” button below.
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
Go ahead and use it for your message in your market, too. Or something like it.
Let’s face it, you will miss calls that are carrying opportunities in their pockets.
A well-crafted answering machine message will help you salvage as many of them as possible.
