How To Make $32,000 in 1 month as a Small Window Cleaning Business Owner
November 12, 2007 – 9:43 pmThat’s what my small window cleaning company generated in sales revenue for the month of May 2007. Impressive? I guess that depends.
Depends on how long I’ve been in business, how many handouts I received along the way, and how much money I started out with, among other things, right?
So, here are the answers:
4 years in business.
No free rides.
And I started out with $10,000 in debt, and no extra money.
How did I do it?
Ahh – there is thegood question. And thus the reason for this website, it’s invaluable advice, and an opportunity that you have never had before.
How long have you been operating your small window cleaning business? 1 year? 3 years? 10 years?
There is something profound that I’d like you to stop and think seriously about for a minute: There are many many many window cleaning businesspeople out there that claim to be able to teach you how to build a successful window cleaning business, and frankly, many of them can. Yup – I said it – many of them can.
However, what separates the highly valuable mentor from the pack, is their ability to teach you exactly how to achieve success quickly.
Think of it this way:
Let’s say that you have an opportunity to learn how to become a plumber, and start a little plumbing business of your own, and 2 of your friends have done just that already.
Now, if one of those friends had been working at his business for 20 years, and was now, in recent years, consistently earning upwards of $100,000/yr, he would probably have a pretty good idea of that he was talking about, wouldn’t he, when it comes to operating a successful little plumbing business? Of course he would. Would his advice be worth listening to? Again, of course. Could he help you? Again, of course.
However, what if friend #2 had this background: What if he also had achieved the same income level in the same industry, and the same market, but had done so from scratch, in only 4 years? Would his business building advice be more valuable to you?
Think about that – would it be more valuable?
And if his advice contradicted what the friend with 20 years of experience said, which one would you trust?
20 year guy, or 4 year guy?
This question is a no-brainer for me, and I hope it is for you, too.
Has your little window cleaning business ever generated $30,000+ in sales revenue for one month? Or put $15,000 profit directly into your pocket, in only 31 days?
No?
If you have not managed to achieve these kinds of sales goal, and would like to know exactly how I did – little old me – with NO money to speak of, NO free rides, and absolutely NO leads, in less than four years of business, then keep reading.
Oh – and I should probably mention that I accomplished this goal working PART-TIME on the business only. Honestly. PART-TIME.
Was it a fluke? I guess some may think so. Although…the money keeps coming in, and our hourly wage keeps going up. Wanna know how I did it?
Of course you do. You’d be crazy not to.
