Preface

Attention Newbies

Warp levels are a thing of beauty. Do you remember conquering Super Mario Bros the first time, using only the warp levels and beating the game in only 9 minutes? Sweet victory! The thing is, life sadly does not contain nearly as many such warp levels as the wonderful world of video games, and especially not where and when you need them the most, when you’re short on time and loaded up with frustration.

Have you just begun cleaning windows for a living, or finally struck out on your own after humming and hawing about the possibility for years? Well, my friend, welcome to the secret warp levels, of Super Window Cleaning World!

If you are a newbie, then this book is especially powerful for you, because you can save an ENORMOUS amount of time off of your learning curve, and along with it an absolute gigantic amount of frustration, which naturally comes with inexperience, squandering hard-earned resources on poorly designed or poorly executed strategies, and spinning your tires where you expected traction.

As a new window cleaning business owner, all of this can NOT be entirely avoided. Yup – I said it – it cannot be avoided, but it most certainly CAN be minimized, which is why you’re still reading right now, anyway, right?

Because you realize that life is a collection of ups and downs, you don’t live in the dream world utopia that some of those other business guys try to make you believe in, and because you’re a realist. However, now you can minimize the damage, avoid getting cut so much, and have the bandaids closer so that your ouchies go away faster than before.

Okay – so maybe that’s a little immature, but hey – it makes the point.

Attention Pros

Tweaks. How powerful would you say a tweak can be? Did you know that water, when it reaches a temperature of 211 degrees Fahrenheit, is not really that useful for very much, although it’s extremely hot, for sure, and would burn you badly, but aside from that, not much useful good for much. However, heat it up just a tad more, and make it hit 212 degrees F and you can drive a 10 ton steam locomotive with 100 rail cars through the mountains of Colorado with it.

Crazy, isn’t it? One tiny difference, and an exponential impact.

Business is no different, and your window cleaning business is no different. In many cases, what you are doing now, has not been easy. It has involved hours and days and in some cases weeks and months of developing, managing and rolling out complex or really cool promotions. But what if you’re SO close to amazing results and didn’t even know it?

What if you’re at 211 degrees F and didn’t have someone with an eye on the thermometer pushing you to stoke the fire just a bit more, or reposition the coals to create a more efficient burn to get that water simmering and finally boiling madly?

This is the beauty of being open-minded enough to reflect on and implement the fine tweaks that this resource offers, and discover whether or not you can squeeze a little more responsiveness, or a LOT more responsiveness out of your existing marketing machine.

Of course, as a successful window cleaning business owner, you also likely have a deeper pool of resources than the new guy, which means that you can roll out a powerful promotion or marketing strategy for real, not mickey-mouse-style, but king-kong-style, and get some serious city-wrecking results.

Not to mention that with a little bit of extra experience and money comes also the scalability factor, and you can recreate an ever growing promotion that maybe you have the existing manpower already to properly handle, to explode your profits and make your window cleaning business stronger incredibly fast, with some intelligent scalability tactics.

Either way, even if you’ve been cleaning windows for 30 years, I sincerely hope (and firmly believe) that this resource can help you achieve greater success for your little window cleaning business, too, but you’re going to have to do something for that to happen.

You will earn “X” dollars in the next 12 months

Commitment is the key to achieving the level of success that you desire for your window cleaning business. Commitment makes you follow through, makes you drag yourself out of bed, and gets your butt out the door even though you were up late enjoying some chicken wings and a couple of beers with your friends last night.

However, commitment is not the be-and-end-all. Commitment is useless, in fact, without a focus on implementation, and the investment of time, and the decision to absolutely replicate the strategies that will work for your window cleaning business once you accept that they truly can work. If you have these things clear and focused, then you are going to achieve outstanding success, business wise, for your window cleaning empire.

The only limit as to how large it can become, or how much money it pulls in over the next 6 months, 9 months , or 12 months, really, is the amount of time and energy you invest in implementing what you learn. For my little window cleaning business, this means enjoying peak months with gross revenue exceeding $32,000 dollars. Not bad for a small operation.

But maybe you’d be happy with less than that, or maybe you’re determined to make a million dollars in the next year. Either way, it’s do-able, depending on the criteria explained above. So, get at it!
